When six young girls are sexually assaulted in the unforgiving streets of urban Cloverdale, a strong, caring African American doctor and her courageous brother are forced to relive their darkest moments to find the predator lurking in the depths of the unpromising community.
Tony Brown couldn’t protect Tiffany during the fateful summer that splintered more souls in their family and neighborhood than he cared to count. Now, after the string of sexual assaults and other masked crimes in Cloverdale resulted in a gruesome murder, Tony knows that he must help his sister find the killer and launches his own search for the truth.
What the determined siblings uncover is more than they bargained for . . . a monster still loose on the streets of Cloverdale, a local police force riddled with dirty cops and corruption and suppressed traumatic memories from Tiffany’s past that could destroy marriages, careers, and possibly even their lives.
Splinters of My Soul is a heart-wrenching, fast-paced suspenseful Psychological Thriller novel that will pull Mystery and Suspense readers directly into the dark streets of the city, and keep them turning pages late at night, as the irresistible and determined Dr. Brown-Carson struggles with her own personal demons and local corrupt police officers on the beat in an unforgettable crime drama plot.
